Zoo "Jungle Park" or "Eagle Park" is located in the south of Tenerife near the resorts of Los Americas, Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos. This zoo is also a botanical garden and home to over 500 different species of animals, making it part of many island's tours and excursions.
The park's territory is an artificial jungle with a rich tropical ecosystem, covering an area of 75,000 m2 on a former mountain desert site. It is a unique tropical oasis with waterfalls, suspension bridges, lagoons and caves. Its territory became home to a wide variety of representatives of the animal world, including tigers, white lions, leopards, hippos, orangutans and other primates, as well as penguins, sea lions, flamingos and many others. But the undoubted pride of the park is the collection of birds of prey that participate in unique shows known far outside the island. The crowning performance is the bald eagle show, which is not found anywhere else in the world. The show programme also includes owls, vultures, parrots and cranes.
